Social Development Department Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her aid and determination to improving South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) services in the course of an engagement using the company's senior supervisors at a strategic planning session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the various social grant beneficiaries, who excelled within the 2024 matric examinations.
With the 724 156 full-time learners who registered for that National Senior Certificate (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, representing eighty one% with the registered pupils from the education sector.
These learners obtained a commendable pass rate of 86%.
